This software handles the Year 2000 correctly by using a base year. Any two-digit year greater than this year is changed to four-digits by adding 1900, while any two-digit year less than this base year is changed to four-digits by adding 2000. For example, if the base year is 90 and the two-digit year is 97, then the four-digit year will be 1997. If the two-digit year were 05, however, then the four-digit year would be 2005. All sorting, searching and archiving handles the year 2000 and beyond correctly. In addition, the Year 2000 is correctly handled as a Leap Year. |
