The Type ASD-621190 Conversion Panel consists of eight identical pulse transformer circuits (four channels, transmit and receive) mounted in a shelf which occupies 1.75 inches (one rack space) of a standard 19-inch equipment

rack. The transformers provide impedance matching between 75 Ohm unbalanced and 120 Ohm balanced interfaces over the frequency range of 50 kHz to 5MHz, and are intended for use with 2048 kb/s digital signals per CCITT recommendation G.703. BNC connectors are equipped on the 75 Ohm unbalanced ports, and a screw--type barrier strip is equipped for the 120 Ohm balanced ports. Ground terminals are provided on the barrier strip for grounding the balanced--cable shields as required. The 75 Ohm cable shields may also be floated if necessary.
